Are you a blogger who has some decent traffic visiting your site regularly? Then you absolutely need to consider how to monetize that traffic! Your following not only respects what you have to say, but will likely also be interested in what you have to offer from a product or service standpoint.
Making money online from your blog should be easy if you have a reasonable following

There are numerous ways in which to monetize your blog, converting your readership into customers. We’ll review several of those strategies here.
Work with an ad network. Work with ad networks like AdSense and BlogHer in order to generate revenue. The way this works is that ad networks supply a stream of ads that are integrated into your blog, and you supply the stream of traffic on your blog to view the ads. You get paid by CPM (cost per thousand impressions) or CPC (cost per click), and if you have the right amount of traffic coming to your blog, this can offer some really nice incremental revenue.
Sell your own products. Are you crafty? Do you knit, make jewelry, or have a CD to sell? Promote your products via your blog and generate income this way. You’ll want to consider how to accept payments – services like PayPal are great, but there are many available e-commerce products that can easily integrate into your website, including offerings like MeCommerce.
You have a captive audience on your blog – selling topic-related products or services makes good sense.
What do you blog about? Sell it! Do you blog about digital marketing strategies? Then sell your digital marketing services to your audience. Are you a food blogger? Consider selling your catering services, or a subscription to a box of new food picks you find every month.
There are plenty of ways to come up with a simple business model around your area of expertise or interest. You have a captive audience who is interested in the same thing, so there is a decent chance your income-generating offering will also be of interest to them.
Sell your writing services. You’ve proven you are a great writer – sell it, baby! Promote your editing and writing services. Many people who read your blog might be business owners – these folks might need blog posts written for them, or website copy, or a press release. If you are a great writer, use your blog to make a living by promoting your writing capability.
Review products for companies. Sites like ReviewMe allow bloggers to get paid to review products for companies who are trying to build awareness of what they are offering. Sign up and let your fingers do the money-making.
So if you’re a blogger with a good following, give those followers more than just something great to read! Give them products to purchase or services they need and are willing to pay you for. Your regular readership has come to trust you and look to you for thought leadership, so chances are good that if you offer something up for purchase, they will at least give it a gander.
